- Hello and welcome to this blog. I'm a Danish journalist located in Brooklyn, New York, where I study a MA in International Affairs at the New School. This blog is the first step in my attempt to find a symbiose between the two themes that has framed my last five years: journalism and studies/interest in human rights. I believe in media as a tool of social change; media created from the perspective of human rights. I don't believe in objectivity, not when it comes to media, possibly not when it comes to anything else. I believe in peace and passion, yes, photography, more yes. I believe in positive change, but I don't delude myself that I am the one bringing it. I don't think that either me or you should dictate, which way to go, but I think that we can find a road together. I have no background in photography, only the mentioned passion. This is not enough in the long run, so on my third semester as a grad student, I'm taking an introduction course in photography. Whatever visuals come out of it I will post on this site.
